The Ortomec assistant trolley for vegetable harvesting uses a single module that can be easily folded. It doesn’t need to be disassembled, and it only takes about 5 minutes with a suitable flatbed trailer to get it ready for work in the field. Its main features are that it’s self-propelled on tracks and has an automatic bin movement system for both full and empty bins. With a fixed track width of 210 cm and a mobile arm that can be adjusted in height, it can work up to 10 meters wide. The arm has an innovative hydraulic system that makes it easy to manage. When you’re done working, the arm can be folded back into position to stay within the 2.50-meter width limit, which makes road transport easier.
