CORIANDER

Harvesters for Coriander

Coriander is an aromatic herb that lends itself to different uses in the kitchen. It is mainly a natural flavor enhancer with a slightly spicy taste. The coriander is principally sown in spring, when temperatures exceed 15°-18°, at a depth of about 1-2 cm. The harvest of this aromatic herb is done when the umbrellas have reached a yellow color, a sign of complete ripeness. This is a very delicate procedure as there is always the risk of damaging the plant. In this regard, Ortomec proposes its coriander harvester characterized by special front tips that tip the product on the central harvesting belt.

The coriander plants are also transported to the same location. This makes it easy to remove any yellow leaves and speeds up harvesting time in the field. The purpose of the coriander harvester is to facilitate the binding and packaging operation.
