EIMA 2022: don't miss the new edition of the Bologna fair!
Since the 1960s it has been recognized as the most prestigious Italian event in the agricultural sector: we are talking about EIMA International, the International Agricultural and Gardening Machinery Exhibition.
Also on the occasion of EIMA 2022, the main players in the sector will have the opportunity to participate in conferences, workshops, training sessions and many other moments of sharing and discussion at the Bologna exhibition center.

EIMA 2022: a unique event of its kind
As every year, the EIMA International Exhibition welcomes manufacturers of agricultural machinery from all over the world. Organized by FederUnacoma, EIMA can count on a history of high prestige which, year after year, attracts thousands of professional visitors and agriculture enthusiasts eager to get in touch with the major players in the sector to BolognaFiere.
Now in forty -fifth edition, at EIMA 2022 the machines and equipment suitable for any type of agricultural or green processing will be presented. To confirm everything, there are the numbers relating to the previous edition, during which the following were recorded:
- a total of over 1,300 exhibitors;
- altogether more than 250 thousand visitors, of which 25 thousand foreigners.
These data are almost comparable to the years preceding the Covid-19 health emergency. The absolute record is held in 2018, during which the number of exhibitors touched 2,000 exhibitors and exceeded 300,000 visitors.
EIMA International: a fair with an avant-garde nature that looks to the future of agriculture, especially as regards digital technologies. Following the EIMA Digital Preview – held in 2020 – today the International Agricultural and Gardening Machinery Exhibition is a reference point for all farmers who aim to make their business more efficient, profitable and smart.
Password of the new edition of EIMA International: innovation!
Also on the occasion of EIMA 2022, the Bologna exhibition center will be divided into 14 product areas and divided into specialized halls, one for each sector of agricultural mechanization and gardening. With this in mind, the Bologna fair is renewed every year thanks to the presence of increasingly innovative companies and solutions
It can count on the presence of over 700 exhibitors: it is EIMA Components, the area of EIMA 2022 where you can meet industries specialized in supplies, spare parts and accessories for agricultural machinery arriving in Bologna from all over the world.
In the BolognaFiere exhibition center there is also EIMA Green: the exhibition dedicated to equipment and technologies for gardening and care of green spaces. An unmissable stop if you are looking for solutions for the maintenance of parks, sports facilities, public gardens and much more.
Another exhibition to visit absolutely if you are intrigued by technologies for energy sources of agricultural origin is EIMA Energy, which offers a truly wide and varied overview of useful solutions for the management of agro-energy supply chains.
But the agricultural irrigation sector is also represented at EIMA 2022! EIMA Idrotech is in fact the exhibition space organized to give visibility to the best systems for irrigation and water management.
Finally, the presence of EIMA Digital is confirmed: the space dedicated to advanced electronics and precision agriculture, in which the scenarios and technologies for a more modern and efficient agriculture will be discussed.
The edition scheduled for EIMA 2022 will also end with the awarding of the winners of the “Technical Innovation” award: the competition that values companies capable of devising cutting-edge solutions in terms of production quality, safety and sustainability.
