EIMA 2021: the International Exhibition of Bologna is approaching!
One of the most important events for the agricultural sector is now around the corner: we are talking about EIMA International 2021, the International Agricultural and Gardening Machinery Exhibition. Since 1969, this event has represented a fundamental meeting point for all the players in the mechanical-agricultural sector.
Ortomec, of course, will also be part of the exhibiting companies, ready to make its harvesters and seeders known to all visitors, from 19 to 23 October at Bologna Fiere.

An unmissable appointment
Now in its forty-fourth edition, EIMA International can boast important numbers and the active participation of numerous companies from all over the world. The main organizer of the event is FederUnacoma (National Federation of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers), which again this year promoted an appointment that has now become unmissable.
The numbers can give an idea of ​​the centrality of this event: the last edition in attendance, that of 2018, broke all previous records, registering the participation of almost 1300 Italian exhibitors and about 700 foreign exhibitors, with more than 300 thousand visitors, from all over the world.
In 2020, to make up for the impossibility of holding the event at the fair as usual, a virtual preview was organized, EIMA Digital Preview. It was an all-digital experience and one of the very first of its kind: characterized by stands and online events, it recorded a good attendance with around 59,000 attendees on the platform dedicated to the event.
Particular and necessary attention, for this year’s traditional edition, was dedicated to the safety of all participants: access to the fair is allowed after checking body temperature, a mask is required and special hand sanitation stations.
EIMA 2021 between innovation and tradition
The exhibition will take place, as usual, in the Bologna exhibition center, on a total area of ​​375 thousand square meters, divided and organized into 14 product sectors that include numerous realities (from companies producing harvesting machines, such as Ortomec, to others that deal with machines for irrigation, breeding, forestation, etc.).
In addition to this, EIMA 2021 will also be divided into specialized exhibitions, with a focus on particular aspects of the mechanical-agricultural world:
EIMA Components: exhibition dedicated to the sector of components for agricultural mechanics, will see the participation of exhibiting companies that deal with supplies, spare parts and accessories for various types of agricultural machinery;
EIMA Green: exhibition dedicated to mechanical technologies and equipment for the care of green spaces and gardening, provides for the display of innovative tools for the maintenance of public gardens, parks, etc .;
EIMA Energy: exhibition reserved for technologies for the use of energy sources of agricultural and forestry origin, with an overview of machines and technologies aimed at a more sustainable management of agro-energy chains;
EIMA Idrotech: exhibition aimed at enhancing the numerous systems and innovations in the field of agricultural irrigation;
EIMA Digital: dedicated to advanced electronics, this show aims to present the most advanced technological solutions for precision agriculture.
